So most of you know that I have volunteered at the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium for two years. Well, when we moved this year from Ohio to North Dakota, I knew that I probably wouldn't be volunteering for my thrid year in a row (being this summer). I really enjoy the program and I also did the Homeschool ZooAide program in the winter.
Well, I was a little bummed out when my grandma in Ohio had sent my ZooAide renewing thingy packet. I actually never threw it out, and I had just put it by my bed with a stack of books. : / I just didn't want to get rid of it!
Well, my mom apparently had an idea brewing in her mind, but hadn't let it boil into conversation until this past Thursday evening. She had asked me where my packet was and I told her it was by my bed. I, being curious and kinda wondering if she was thinking what I was now thinking she was thinking, asked her why she wanted to know. Her response: Oh no reason, I'm just thinking about something. Now I knew she was thinking what I thought she was thinking. :)
Another thing most of you know is that Mom, Zack, Kenz, and I are coming to Ohio from April 12th to May 2nd (coming from thowing a Baby Shower for my Aunt and Uncle). Here's where we get to the awesome news of 'Talk About A Summer Vaca!'! When Mom and the sibs leave Ohio on May 2nd I'm staying with Grandma and Grandpa Jackson in Pickerington so I can volunteer at the Columbus Zoo for my third consecutive year!!! I can't wait!
While I'm also in town, I'll be able to go up and visit with my aunt and baby cousin (I say baby...he's 15 almost 16 months). I'll be able to stay with them and help my aunt around the house and such while my uncle is on his second tour in Iraq. :(
I'll miss my family in ND, but I'll be with family in OH and friends as well! I will either fly back home in July, or if Gma and Gpa Jackson come out to visit in July, I'll just ride back with them.
