~End of the Day~

It's almost 9 o'clock.  I'm sitting here in our basement living room typing on my dad's laptop.  Everyone else is upstairs doing I'm not sure what. lol.  Right now I am watching Wipeout on TV (surprisingly - considering I dont'enjoy the show that much) & am thinking how interesting these people's strategies are to get across the final obstacle course or whatever it's called.  I mean the one guy is going face-first down these stairs that are moving up & down..  *OUCH*  then he takes some face-plants.  I can't believe people sometimes..  But hey..they are having fun..........I think. :?

Dad got to town on Wednesday & two of my friends went with Mom, Zack, Kenz, & I to the airport to pick Dad up.  They even made him a 'Welcome Home' sign!! Haha, Love ya Jenna & Alyssa!! Thanks for coming with us!  I think Dad was happy to see you guys too.! =D

The day has been pretty long..  We delivered our newspaper routes today & then we came home & played some games.  We girls played a Domino game called Mexican Train & Dad & Zack played a game called Axis & Allies.

Tomorrow we might go to the movies & see the new Harry Potter movie (that I so badly want to see.).

Well I'm not sure what else to say..  I got some new pics up on my photography blog..

~October 18th~

*sigh*.
today has been a good-filled school day. 
right now, kenz is outside, zack in his room, & mom resting on the couch.  i think gpa is on the backporch resting, as well.  the house is rather quiet, tho.
we are all feeling a little down, what with our colds. /:  luckily i am kinda over mine, just my stomach bothering me.  zack has been the one w/ a fever, and hasn't had it today.  kenzie really hasn't had it.  and now mom is a little stuffy.  oh how we l0ve colds! :{  JK JK JK!
not much to report since the last post.  i know i need to get some pics up so i'll go find some and report on that. 
i have co-op tomorrow and thursday. oh the joy.  and nothing aside from that and school work.
well:: i will go find some photos and get some posting going on! :D

~GAHHHH!!~

ok, i know i haven't updated this in like forever, but i have been B.U.S.Y.!!
ever since mom & the sibs got back from ND we have been going NON-STOP!!
we just haven't had time to catch our breath..
i am sick w/ some kind of head cold or something. and i don't feel too well.  but tomorrow we get to sleep in and get some much-needed R&R.
as i am sitting here typing that i am sick, my brother just came up saying he took his temperature, and has some kind of 99* temp.  ugh we're all gonna be sick! 
this past week has been pretty awesome, though.  monday we did some school --not too exciting.  tuesday i had cornerstone co-op and then a GS meeting for kenzie (and i am a helper for her troop).  wednesday we didn't do much..  thursday i had learning tree co-op and shakespeare auditions (do NOT get my started on that topic!!)  and then friday we went to Newport Aquarium with the millers.  and today (saturday) we delivered all of our 1400+ weekend newspaper bags. so we can DEFINITELY sleep-in tomorrow! :D :D :D
i have not had anytime to keep up w/ either of my blogs. ( including my new one for my photography ..::  CassPhotography ::..  )  funny thing is, i haven't even had time to take pictures of all the stuff we've been doing!!  GAHHHHH!! lol
this coming week we don't have anything planned other than our tuesday and thursday co-ops, and we are hitting the school books ..  we need a good school week.  /: 
hope-fully we will be able to have a calm week, and then i'm sure it'll be back to craziness!  we are so run-down tho, and now all three of us kids don't feel good, that we need a good day of R&R. 
well i think i am going to retire this post and i hope to be able to update this sometime soon w/ what goes on.  in the meantime, my mom is better about updating her blog w/ what we do(:

~Wow~

Sometimes all I want to say is : WOW.
The word 'wow' ususally sums up alot of different things going on.  Like : Wow, you're crazy; Wow, that was awesome; Wow this is really interesting; or Wow, going into your sophomore year of High School so now you really have to decide what kinda career you want to do...WOW.
So yea that's pretty much where I am: saying 'wow' everytime i think about what i want to do with my life.
Decisions decisions, and not easy ones all the time...

Well, I don't have any pictures (since I haven't really done anything picture worthy) but I thought I should update my blog & give everyone a sense of what's been going on.  I figured I could just to a journal post...yeah, this will do.

So, it's Saturday...OK...yeah...

Well, not much has been going on the last few days.  As you know, Mom & the sibs left on the 2nd, & I've been here with my grandparents.  I've been able to spend time with them & my baby cousin 'Odie' and his mommy Aunt A.  Other than that, I've been hanging out with the neighbor kids.

At night I Skype with my Mom & Dad, & it was nice last night to get to see EVERYONE (except me) in the same place.  It was kinda weird to think that our little family of 5 was spread out between Ohio & North Dakota...

The weather in Ohio has been WAY better than the weather in North Dakota.  They got some snow yesterday while we got some rain.  Unfortunately, I think all my making fun of them brought my karma...  Today the temperature was 40s with the windchill ; without the windchill it may have been 50s.  Then it decided to sprinkle here & there.  Not very long, just enough to chill you.  Now, it was cold, but not NEARLY as cold as what I have experienced this past winter.  It was also my first day back on the job as a ZooAide.  Though I was freezing my butt off (since I didn't have long pants) I tried not to complain too much since I know it could be WAY worse! 

Not much else to report. . .

Hopfully I'll have some post that's worth typing up by then.  If not, I'll give another journal post (as I call them) . . . . .

~Anxiety~

Today we started packing for our trip.  We are leaving North Dakota on April 5th, and heading to Iowa, then we are going to head to Ohio after a few days. 

We are all getting really anxious for our trip, especially me.  I just want summer to start so I can hang out with friends and volunteer at the CZA, and I don't want it to stop!  Yeah, I'll miss Dad and the fam here, but I think I'm going to have tons of fun chillaxin with friends and volunteering at the zoo with friends! 

The living room was trashed earlier today, with clothes all over the ground, and the kids have been cleaning their rooms...I was helping Kenz.  I'm hoping to get all my clothes organized tomorrow and my room cleaned, as well. 

All day and night, my mind's just going with the thoughts of what I need to remember to pack, when I need to pack it, and lots of other things, too. 

I was hoping to get some babysitting in before we left so I could have some money (since I'm saving all my birthday money for a bird when I get back to ND), but unfortunately I haven't really watched anyone.  Oh well... I guess I'll just have to stay away from the thrift stores. lol

I'll be sure to update everyone while we're on our trip, and while I'm spending the summer with my grandparents (  :D  ).

~You Better Sleep with you Eyes OPEN!~

Dad took a nap (we didn't get much sleep last night) and we three kids were supposed to be doing school.  Mom was down the hall in her room.  Well, I was working at the table with my music blarin and I was focused I didn't see Zack and Kenzie setting all those lovely plastic dinosaurs and toys up around Dad.  Well, they came over and tapped on my shoulder and I look up ahead and there are all those toys surrounding Dad.  They whispered for me to get my camera, so I did.  When sleeping in the open, you better sleep with your eyes open as well!  =P

Yes, I was working on my assignments and wanted to try a setting on my camera - which, of course, I had next to me).  I thought it came out looking kinda neat!

Our little fellow bunny.  He's so CUTE!  When there aren't many birds at the feeder, he hops out of his little hole and bounces over for some food.  I think I'll call him (yes, I'm calling it a he). . .I'll call him Sherlock Holmes.  He's a cute little detective!

Kenzie built a 'castle' today.  I'm sure it will last for a day or two, and then we'll have to take it down because there's no where for us to go with it...  She glued it together so she'll have to take it apart by some other means other than simply removing it piece by piece as she usually does so she can reuse the materials.  She enjoys crafts and stuff, and this time she wanted to make something big.  She did, and it's taller than her...

She loves it oh-so much!  :)
